Types of Agriculture

Agriculture is the practice of cultivating plants and livestock. Agriculture was the key development in the rise of sedentary human civilization, whereby farming of domesticated species created food surpluses that enabled people to live in cities.

Rural development policies should exploit the contribution of farming, both in terms of improving on-farm activities and supporting ancillary services, to secure sustainable development for rural areas.
Agriculture development should be such that Agriculture development brings about a revolution in the agriculture industry to give birth to an agriculture which is profit giving and at the same time eco friendly.
All rural extension work takes place within a process of development, and cannot be considered as an isolated activity. Extension programmes and projects and extension agents are part of the development of rural societies.

The agricultural sector forms the backbone of the Indian economy and provides a great scope for economic growth of the country. In fact, agriculture has been the single largest contributor to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of India. The agricultural produce of India comprises about 75 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. agriculture is a key player in the economy of numerous developing countries across the world. There are various policies that are implemented to promote agriculture in the country.

We do undertake irrigation management and economic empowerment roles and provide technical and financial advice to wide range of small holder farmers in the common champion model of production, value addition, marketing and policy linkages that small scale farmers development packages including agriculture and institutional aspects are well incorporated. - is our other project, Proper Rural Development School, where we take care of Rural Development through our school of thought. We train Indian Farmers in agriculture and organic farming.

Agriculture, also known as farming, is the production of food, fiber, animal feed, and other goods by means of growing and harvesting plants and animals. Agriculture is practiced throughout the world. Many agricultural products are used every day, from the clothes we put on in the morning to the sheets we sleep under at night. When you think of agriculture, think of the five F's: food, fabric, forestry, farming, and flowers.
